ECEAP | 3 - 5 years | Lilac City Early Learning Center in Spokane, WA

Our ECEAP program — Washington State's Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program — provides free, high-quality preschool for eligible families with children ages 3-5. In partnership with Spokane Colleges and Akin, ECEAP students at Lilac City learn in the same relationship-based classrooms as every child, grounded in Conscious Discipline, the Creative Curriculum, and play-based learning. ECEAP also includes comprehensive family support — health screenings, developmental assessments, and connections to community resources — so every child has what they need to thrive.

ECEAP is Washington State's publicly funded preschool program for income-eligible families with children ages 3-5. At Lilac City, we partner with Spokane Colleges and Akin to offer ECEAP at no cost to qualifying families — with the same research-backed curriculum and warm, relationship-based classrooms as the rest of our program.

Children enrolled through ECEAP learn alongside their peers in mixed classrooms, receiving the same Creative Curriculum instruction, Conscious Discipline-guided social-emotional support, and intentional play-based learning. The ECEAP distinction is invisible to families in the classroom — it only changes how enrollment is funded and what additional services are available.
